I started my career with both a Chemical Engineering degree and a Technical Entrepreneurial Certificate from the University of Iowa in 1998.  I worked in the paper industry for one year.  At the same time, I ran an online collectable business and began to realize my passion was technology.  I sold my business in 2000 and went to work for a Big-5 consulting firm.  This brought me down the path to become an industry expert in Microsoft BizTalk and Integration.  I am an independent consultant specializing in BizTalk Server and other Microsoft Server Integration technologies including Windows Azure and API Web Apps.  I have been working with BizTalk since February 28, 2001. For the past 11 years, I have been recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in BizTalk Server / Microsoft Integration. 

I have worked on over 23 different BizTalk projects all over the world, with many clients being in the Fortune 500.

I run the BizTalk community site http://www.BizTalkGurus.com.  This site offers a community forum, over 50 of my BizTalk samples, custom made how-to videos, and my blog.  I have presented at several Microsoft TechEd events, multiple Service Oriented Architecture Conferences, and various user groups.

I am a proven initiator, published author, conference presenter, problem solver, and troubleshooter with a flair for identifying, taking ownership of, and solving complex problems. Always ready for a challenge!
